I bought one of each, the Lycra one and the Gel one, and they are awesome! I couldn't decide between the two, but they are both very helpful especially since I work on the computer a lot... helps with my wrists to not hurt so much (think the carpel tunnel is starting), and helps when working long hours and laptop get hot, and nice and VERY cushy and comfy! "I bought thinking this might help...wow! was I surprised. After 2 hrs. I realized that the heat from laptop was not bothering my wrists and when I rest my wrists on the laptop, they do not get so fatigued after typing for hours. The wrist rests are soft, comfortable and my hands do not hurt afterwards! Good invention! I also found that after closing my laptop, I lay the gel on the top of my computer and it sort of sticks to it so when putting in briefcase, I don't need a cover for it."
